Pc 3000 hdd error codes and ready lights
BSY: When the drive is performing some action and will not respond to any command
DRD: Drive ready: when it is ready to perform a command
DWF: Write Fault: general failure of the drive or writing with wrong parameters
DSC: Drive seek complete: heads completed seek operation
DRQ: Data request: request for data transfer from/to sector buffer for read/write commands
CRR: Corrected data: error while reading data, which was corrected by ECC system
IDX: Index: when each turn of the disk while it’s spindling
ERR: Error: last execute command completed with error. Error Register has more detailed info.
BBK: Bad Mark Block: bad sector mark was found in ID field of the sector
UNC: Uncorrectable data: ECC error in data field, which could not be corrected
INF: ID not found: required cylinder, head, sector, could not be found or ECC error in ID field.
ABR: Aborted command
TON: Track 0 not found
AMN: Data address mark not found: if during “Read Sector” command an address market of data field was not found after reading ID field of that sector (usually media error)
